At Vector24, our "Extra Mile Project," funded by The Veterans Foundation and The Army Central Fund, is dedicated to providing transportation support and intelligent signposting for serving members of the armed forces, including all three services and their families. We recognise the challenges faced when partners are overseas on exercise or deployment, and our goal is to offer reliable transport solutions and clear guidance to help them navigate their needs. We provide reassurance and practical assistance during these demanding times, ensuring their journey is as smooth and supported as possible.

"Project Shield," funded by The Veterans Foundation and delivered in partnership with Fife Alcohol Support Service (FASS) and Vector24, is a dedicated initiative to triage members of the armed forces community and their families in need of mental health support. This programme specifically addresses those with alcohol or substance use overlays, ensuring they are triaged and offered support within five working days. Following triage, a tailored programme of mental health support will be offered by fully qualified counsellors. Additionally, Vector24 will provide transportation if required, ensuring individuals can access the help they need in a safe and timely manner.

Vector24 has now established a partnership with SGN to promote gas safety awareness and provide essential safety measures. Our team has been trained to sign up individuals who meet the criteria to the Personal Services Register (PSR), ensuring those most in need receive support and resources. Additionally, we now have a supply of carbon monoxide (CO) detectors, which can be distributed to anyone who requires one free of charge. It is highly recommended that CO detectors are installed in every room with a fuel-burning appliance to help prevent the dangers associated with carbon monoxide poisoning. This initiative aims to enhance safety and raise awareness around the risks of gas and fuel-related hazards.
