Our training providers, IED Training Solution Ltd, deliver an IOSH-approved workshop for all new outreach support officers and volunteer outreach support drivers. This training covers:

• The Legal Environment
• Hazard Identification, Assessment, and Control
• Defensive Driving Standards and Lone Working
• First Aid Awareness
• Conflict Management and Workplace Stress
• Manual Handling and Disability Awareness

Additionally, our full-time staff hold between them qualifications in Mental Health First Aid, Emergency First Aid at Work, and ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training). All team members also hold valid disclosure certificates from Volunteer Scotland.

We cover the whole of Scotland wherever possible. Currently, we have three full-time outreach support officers and additionally, we have over 40 volunteer outreach support drivers and are always looking to expand our team. 

Our Engagement Support Officer is extremely busy, often spending over an hour on calls that focus on well-being. We take pride in giving our full attention to each person, so you can expect us to listen without rushing you.

We do not accept same-day bookings, as each request requires careful planning and risk assessment to ensure the highest level of care. 

Next-day bookings are also unlikely during busy periods, as it may take us up to 1 working day to respond. However, you’re welcome to inquire.

Completing a booking form is essential because it provides us with the necessary information to process your request. Without this information, we cannot make informed decisions about your booking. We operate on a first-come, first-served basis, so it's important to submit your form as soon as possible to secure your request. Thank you for your understanding! 

Our normal service operates Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, so we do not work evenings or weekends.
